In addition to designing the covers, I single-handedly laid out all 200+ page catalogs in their entirety.
I had the opportunity to lead the art direction of all product catalogs. For the 2017 edition, I chose “watercolor” as a theme. For the cover, I worked with an illustrator to get the pen drawing shown on the right, of two of our studio shots. I knew that I had wanted the cover to look like a watercolor painting, but had never digitally done something like that. Taking the pen drawing into Photoshop, I kept overlaying paint textures over selected areas until it had the right “look”.
