What is it that makes a good designer?
For me, it's the desire to continually improve any visual aesthetic I get my hands on, learning new ways to achieve results... the drive to solve problems with effective design. Anyone can learn technical skills, but the ambition to use them well comes from within. Also, there is the aspect of design itself.
Design represents a journey.
With every new project, there is a promise to lead somewhere different, offering new and unique creative perspectives and challenges. After more than 12 years in this field, I am still ready and inspired for that next journey.
I'm looking to utilize my acquired skills and artistic knowledge in a creative environment that will challenge my critical thinking. I thrive on being challenged and respond well to constructive critique.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review my online portfolio. I ask that you please keep in mind that though my work may not visually look relevant to your needs, I design for what is needed. It just so happened that most of my career was spent at a Halloween costume manufacturer, so of course the design work wouldn't compare to that of a more conservative client. The great part about my time there was that, as a small company, I was at times the only graphic designer and so had to be prepared for any kind of project. I enjoyed not doing "just one thing".
